Paul Blart cold start fart. The poor Corvette sat neglected under a tarp for a full month. This weekend I went to wake it up and move it into the garage down the street. Here’s what 11.0:1 350 sounds like waking up from hibernation. Skip to 00:32 if you don’t want to hear me talking.

Sounds better than my 8.5:1 350. I really need to shim my starter better. Mine does start in about the same amount of cranking after siting for a while. You know the procedure, crank to get fuel pressure, pump the gas a few times, crank again, vroom.

Zoom zoom! The 35o is such a resilient motor. I have a mellow 350 in my ‘99 Suburban as well.

I saw you were looking for a 454, would there be any interest in trading it for the 350 in the Vette?

Thanks for the offer but the 350 in it is the original matching numbers mill for the car. Wouldn’t dare lose that one.

You get one of those hats with your citizenship in Canada.

Hooker race sidepipes with vestigial mufflers. They just neck the 4" pipe down to 2" straight through. No baffles.

Who needs leaf blowers when you have sidepipes?
